Disney has finally released the fifth season of ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ on Disney+ in Canada as of early September. However, Disney dropped 5 episodes at once and then switched to a weekly release strategy for the remaining 5 episodes.
What We Do in the Shadows, based on the feature film by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), and their vampire bureaucrat acquaintance, The Guide (Kristen Schaal).

In an unexpected move, Disney released season 5 of ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ in Canada without any prior announcement.
Disney also adopted an uncommon strategy by releasing the first five episodes of “What We Do In The Shadows” season 5 on Disney+ all at once. The remaining five episodes will be released weekly.
Episode 7 of “What We Do In The Shadows” season 5 will premiere on Wednesday, September 20 on Disney+ Canada. Expect the episode to be available at 12 am PT, 1 am MT, and 3 am ET.
