The next upcoming movie from Walt Disney Studios, “Cruella”, will be coming to movie theatres and Disney+ Premier Access on May 28, 2021.
Of course, this new hybrid model is due to the global pandemic closing cinemas around the world. The movie will be priced at $29.99/£19.99 via Premier Access and will then eventually be available to regular Disney+ subscribers at no additional charge. So when exactly will “Cruella” be free?
Cruella Disney Plus Free Date
Disney has announced that Cruella will be coming to Disney+ for regular subscribers at no additional cost on Agusut 27, 2021. This means it’s exactly 91 days between Premier Access and regular release.
Before the pandemic, it took an average of 219 days or just over seven months from when a movie is released in theatres to arriving on Disney+. Covid, however, has completely turned this upside down.
Movies such as “Frozen 2”, “Onward”, “Mulan” and “Raya and the Last Dragon” were all added earlier than usual.
