Disney announced that popular action drama “NCIS” will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland. You might be wondering when the series will be arriving on Disney+, and while details are slim, here’s everything we know so far.
What is NCIS about?
NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humor, it’s a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine gunnery sergeant whose skills as an investigator are unmatched, leads this troupe of colorful personalities.
Gibbs, a man of few words, only needs a look to explain it all. The team includes NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee, an MIT graduate with a brilliance for computers; NCIS Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop, a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism who specializes in international threat assessment and global preparation; the charismatic, unpredictable and resilient NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres, who has spent most of his career on solo undercover assignments; and NCIS Special Agent Jacqueline “Jack” Sloane, who built her reputation as the agency’s premier forensic psychologist and enjoys challenging Gibbs.
Assisting the team as the NCIS Historian is retired medical examiner Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, who knows it all because he’s seen it all; Ducky’s protégé, the naïve Jimmy Palmer, who graduated from assistant to fully licensed medical examiner and now runs the morgue and Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines, Ducky’s former graduate assistant who impressed Gibbs with her keen forensic skills during a critical time for the team.
Overseeing operations is NCIS Director Leon Vance, an intelligent, highly trained agent who can always be counted on to shake up the status quo. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.
NCIS Disney Plus UK Release Date
Disney announced on Disney+ Day back in November 2021 that the popular action drama “NCIS” will be coming to the streaming service sometime in 2022.
Disney hasn’t provided an exact release date but did confirm that all existing and the new seasons will be available on Disney+. When the FOX channel closed in the UK, “NCIS” no longer had a permanent home meaning many fans were wondering how they would be able to watch “NCIS” in the UK.
CBS creates the show, so it’s unlikely to arrive on Disney+ in other countries. When Disney purchased Fox, they also acquired the distribution rights in some countries for shows like “The Walking Dead” and, in this case, “NCIS”.
Disney has announced everything that’s coming to Disney+ in March, and “NCIS” isn’t included. Unless Disney makes a surprise announcement, which is unusual but does happen, the earliest we can expect “NCIS” to arrive on Disney+ in the UK is April 2022.
UPDATE: Season 1 to 18 will be available on April 6, with the first three episodes from season 19 being released on the same day. New episodes from season 19 will then be released each Wednesday.
NCIS Season 19 UK Watch Online
Season 19 of NCIS isn’t currently streaming anywhere in the United Kingdom which includes Netflix, Prime etc. You also won’t be able catch the latest season on regular television due to the Fox channel closing in 2021. Currently, NCIS fans will need to wait until the show is available to stream on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
The series also isn’t available on iTunes, Google Play etc.
Can someone tell Disney+ to get on with it. Most aren’t happy NCIS is on there in the first place nevermind the delay and lack of information about its release. I have no interest in the endless Star Wars spin offs.
We would like to know when it’s going to be on Disney Plus
Great news. Love the show.
Do we know roughly what month this year it will be on Disney plus.
Also will all other NCIS shows ie. Los Angeles, Hawaii, New Orleans be on Disney plus too in the future? Thanks.
No New Orleans is on sky max so expected NCOs to be on there too !
I have got Disney plus on the soul reason that NCIS will be on it it will be cancelled soon if that doesn’t happen was this a con to make you subscribe to the channel
I’ve also got it for ncis and still waiting for it as I want to know what happen to gibbs
I’m the same I’ve had the Disney plus channel to watch NCIS.
Could Disney do a deal with say CBS Action or CBS Drama to get it aired in the UK on regular TV or even with Sky?
I also subscribed to disney+ for one purpose only to see season 19 of NCIS otherwise I have sky and Netflix etc there is nothing else that disney+ can offer me but NCIS and if that does not happen I’m cancelling the subscription. Don’t understand why series drama cannot be on TV or sky. This is most infuriating.
I agree with Dawn.
I also subscribed solely to watch NCIS but this is obviously not happening.
I’m past the age of Marvel movies and cartoons and have never been into Star Wars and not much else on Disney Plus Interests me.
Come on Disney.
Let’s have NCIS.
Why is Disney so hard up for they had to remove fox & ncis from normal TV and and force people to pay for Disney to watch TV programs they love, watch in this pandemic when we have to stay in stay safe when money is tight.
Regards MR GEOFFREY MURRAY
Why should we pay again to see NCIS from CBS in UK !!!
When Seal Team and The Rookie are on SKY Showcase/Max and SKY Witness which are also made by CBS ??? Dont rip us off in UK
Was planning to subscribe earlier this year so I could watch ncis and mando. Still waiting, if wait much longer i will probably give up and not bother. If I subscribe I am sure I will see other things to watch
It’s not fair, I can barely afford to pay for Sky so I can’t have the Disney+ channel added. I’m gutted as I have never missed a single episode of ncis, until now 😪
Hey!!!
Disney plus – NCIS?? Finger your out get!
Rapidly becoming viewed as Disney minus!
