Many are eager to know when they can expect the film to become available on Disney+. We’ve got you covered.

Together, they risk it all to take on the most elite sport in the world. Gran Turismo is an inspiring, thrilling, and action-packed story that proves that nothing is impossible when you’re fueled from within.
Cast includes Archie Madekwe (Midsommar), David Harbour (Stranger Things), Orland Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean), Darren Barnet (Never Have I Ever), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), and Geri Halliwell of the Spice Girls.
Neill Blomkamp directs the film which is penned by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin.
When is “Gran Turismo” Coming To Disney Plus?
Sony Pictures distributes “Gran Turismo,” and this implies that it will eventually appear on Disney+.
Sony inked a five-year contract with Netflix in April 2021, granting Netflix exclusive US rights to Sony’s films after their cinema and premium video-on-demand runs.
We anticipate “Gran Turismo” to premiere on Netflix US by December 23rd, 2023, but the exact date might shift to the subsequent days or weeks.
After the movie completes its pay 1 window on Netflix, which typically lasts about 18 months, it will transition to Disney+. Sony and Disney brokered a deal for all Sony Pictures Entertainment releases from 2022 to 2026. This agreement permits these movies to feature on Disney’s platforms in the US, including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, Fox, FX, Freeform, and National Geographic.
Given this arrangement, we expect that “Gran Turismo” will debut on Disney+ in the US around late 2025 or potentially in 2026.
On the international front, Disney licences Sony films without a clear pattern, making it uncertain when and where “Gran Turismo” might be available on Disney+ in other countries.
We will update this page when release dates are announced for streaming platforms.
For now, you will have to buy a movie ticket to watch “Gran Turismo” until it becomes available on streaming.
