Will There Be A ‘Prom Pact 2’?

Prom Pact has officially debuted on Disney Channel and Disney+ as of late March 2023.

In case you didn’t know anything about Prom Pact, it takes places during the height of prom season, and high school senior Mandy Yang and her best friend and fellow outsider Ben are surrounded by over-the-top ’80s-themed promposals. However, Mandy keeps her eyes focused on a different goal: her lifelong dream of attending Harvard. When she finds out that she has been put on the waitlist, she is determined to do whatever she can do to get herself accepted, even if that means asking for help from the one person she abhors – popular all-star jock Graham Lansing, whose father is a powerful senator and Harvard alum. Once Mandy becomes Graham’s tutor, she begins to realize there’s more to him than she thought and perhaps something more to life than Harvard.

Will There Be A Prom Pact 2?

As of now, there is no official word from Disney indicating whether there will be a “Prom Pact 2” for Disney Channel and Disney+.

While the initial movie garnered favorable reviews from both critics and audiences, the decision to produce a sequel will ultimately depend on viewership figures.

Although Disney has not yet released official viewership statistics, “Prom Pact” has been performing well, currently ranking as the 5th most popular movie on Disney+. However, without concrete data, it is difficult to determine whether a second movie will be greenlit.

Considering Disney’s track record of developing successful franchises, it is plausible that we may see a “Prom Pact 2” in the future. Nonetheless, as there have not been any rumors or indications that another movie is in the works, the likelihood of a sequel at this time seems to be a toss-up.

Prom Pact 2 Release Date

At the moment, there is no confirmation from Disney regarding the production of a sequel to “Prom Pact”. Therefore, it is not yet possible to determine an official release date for “Prom Pact 2”.

It is worth noting, however, that Disney tends to have a relatively short turnaround time for these types of movies. Therefore, if Disney does decide to move forward with a second “Prom Pact” movie, we can anticipate that it will be released in late 2024 or shortly thereafter.
