Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” is reportedly using the working title Apple Pie 1. Additionally, it has been revealed that “Avengers: Secret Wars” is using the working title Apple Pie 2.
The Cosmic Circus suggests that the working titles could be a reference to Carl Sagan, the world-famous space scientist. The outlet points out that there is a Sagan quote from Cosmos that says “If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.”
Not much is known about “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” other than the film is set to release in 2026. Destin Daniel Cretton will direct the film and it will be part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
