WWE Superstar Seth Rollins Joins Marvel’s ‘Captain America: New World Order’

Seth Rollins, aka WWE Superstar  Seth “Freakin” Rollins has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: New World Order.”

An official announcement has not been made by Disney or Marvel but pictures have surfaced online of Rollins on the set of the film.  Fans speculate Rollins could be playing one of the members of the Serpent Society.

In the upcoming film, Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, and Carl Lumbly will return to their roles from the Disney+ Original series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.”  Additionally, Tim Blake Nelson joins the cast as Dr. Samuel Sterns, reprising his role from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.  It has also confirmed that Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones, Star Wars) will play General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the film and Xosha Roquemore (Space Jam: A New Legacy) has reportedly been cast in a key role.

Recently, Liv Tyler was confirmed to reprise her MCU role as the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt Ross.”

Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox and Luce) is director of the project.  Kramer Morgenthau has been tapped as the director of photography.

Malcolm Spellman, head writer and show creator for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, returns to write the script for Captain America 4 along with Dalan Musson.

“Captain America: New World Order” releases in theaters on May 3, 2024.
