‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ Removed From Disney+ (US)

“X-Men Origins: Wolverine” has been removed from Disney+ in the United States.

The removal came as a bit of a surprise since Disney+ does not announce which titles will be leaving every month.  The film was just added to the Disney+ Library in June.   The film is still available on Disney+ in other countries.

The film is expected to return to Disney+ when contracts expire that were made before The Walt Disney Company purchased 20th Century Fox.

After years of working as a mutant mercenary, Logan lives a quiet life with his girlfriend, Kayla. However, a figure from his past brutally assassinates Kayla, compelling Logan to seek vengeance.

  1. As a person who purchased the movie, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” via iTunes, I don’t mind it removed. On the contrary, I think it’s great news! As a subscriber to HULU as to Disney+, Marvel, 20th Century Fox, Blue Sky, and Lucas Film should be in the former, not the latter!
